We're building B2B software to speed up decarbonization and climate adaptation of existing multifamily buildings everywhere. Come work with Marc Zuluaga, PE and Jason Block, PE in bringing our market-transforming solutions…well, to market! You’ll help us develop and grow important strategic relationships; cultivate new customers and get them going on our software platform; and help solve thorny implementation problems standing in the way of doing carbon-responsive construction.
You’ll benefit from our decades of experience leading building decarbonization projects as you grow your own technical and relationship management expertise to become a trusted advisor to large real estate portfolios, key public-sector stakeholders, and leading property, energy, and decarbonization service providers. We are excited for the possibility to both mentor and learn with you as we roll out our solution and uncover the customer needs that accelerate climate-responsive construction.
You have an an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for decarbonizing buildings at scale, and a grounding in how buildings and construction work in the real world.
You’ve been boots-on-the-ground for at 2 to 5+ years in energy auditing, building science, engineering or construction. You understand why mass decarbonization of buildings has been so difficult to achieve and appreciate that there are patterns when it comes to building typologies and customer questions that can be leaned into to truly scale this work with AI. You appreciate the uniqueness of this moment and why it necessitates disruptive approaches. And you are comfortable with ambiguity since there is no proven roadmap to follow for hugely scaling building upgrades.
You're also ready to flex your commitment to environmental, social, and economic justice, and excited to join us on our climate justice mission.
All roles require our shared competencies for “managers of one”. In addition:
Stable, high-quality housing is prerequisite for people to achieve their human potential. We called our company Cadence OneFive because hitting the pace of climate action to keep global warming to 1.5°s above pre-industrial temperatures is critical to ensuring that everyone everywhere enjoys high-quality housing that they can afford and that is resilient to the effects of climate change. So, we're building B2B software to speed up decarbonization and climate adaptation of existing multifamily buildings. Cadence OneFive is a public benefit corporation pursuing both a climate justice mission and profits.
